Review: Lena Lashes in Khloe (from the Pin-up Girl Collection)

Hello Loves!

I'm trying out another style from Lena Lashes Pin-Up Girl Collection! Today, I will be wearing and reviewing the style called Khloe. I was hesitant about this pair of lashes at first but as you will read, my thoughts were exactly the opposite.

These lashes were sent as a press sample for possible review consideration. All opinions are my own and I was not paid to say anything in this post.

PACKAGING
This collection comes in a magnetic black and red polka dot box with gold hearts that have the company name and names of the makeup artists who collaborated for this collection. The back of the box has the social media information of the company as well as the makeup artists.

Within this box is the name of each lash on the top and the bottom contains the trays for each individual lash. A ribbon is attached to the bottom of the box to easily remove the trays. I found that the trays in this box are not secure and will easily come out on their own. This is definitely an unwelcome change compared to the boxes for a single pair of lashes.

The lashes I will be reviewing are on the upper right.
Read on for the nitty-gritty about the lashes!

This is what the lashes looked pre and post trim:

About 1/3 cm was cut off the outside.

APPLICATION
These lashes were not the easiest pair of lashes to apply because of the curvature of the mink hairs getting in the way. I waited around 60 seconds (with Koko Lashes lash glue) before I applied the lashes and the band was easy to move around before I was satisfied with the placement. This pair of lashes had a relatively thin, flexible band and were lightweight.

Below is the before and after pictures to show the effect of the lashes:

But the real test is...
LONGEVITY/WEAR
The problem I have had with mink lashes in the past is that they shed hairs pretty easily. I feel like if you lose even a couple of hairs, it can compromise the look of the lashes. I have worn this pair three times and have removed them both times by soaking the band with oil-free makeup remover and pulling them off. I didn't notice any significant hair fiber loss after the few times I have worn them. These lashes are the most durable pair I have owned from this brand and are also very comfortable during the entirety of wear (8-10 hrs). I was pleasantly surprised on the performance of this lash and they still look the same now as whenever I received them.

QUALITY / PRICING / RANDOM:
The quality of the mink hairs were soft and felt like real lashes. They add volume and wispiness to makeup looks without blocking out the lid color. These lashes retail for $40 individual and $130 with the Pin-Up Girl Collection. This company often has sales (whatever % off, BOGO, etc.) so you often do not have to pay full retail. If you want to splurge on a nice pair of lashes and like wispy, voluminous lashes, this pair is for you.

FINAL VERDICT
These lashes get a...

9/10

Pros:
Durable
Natural feeling (lightweight and soft hairs)

Cons:
Harder to apply
High retail price
Loose lash trays (not ideal for travel)

WOULD YOU IT BUY AGAIN?
Yes, yes, YES. This is probably the only pair of mink lashes I would ever restock on. That's a lot coming from me because usually mink lashes are too fragile for my needs.
